Years ago we discovered Macromedia® Flash™ and loved it at first sight. Unfortunately we discovered that, while it's a superb browser development tool, Macromedia Flash is not as powerful when your goal is to develop stand-alone Flash applications, CD ROM front ends or screensavers.
